SSP Programs
I am thrilled to announce the launch of yet another all-new Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) playlist:
SSP Groove.Featuring soothing background scores, popular music numbers and lively drum beats, SSP Groove is a musical ride to regulation. This playlist starts off rather mellow before slowly building up the intensity of the beats and the arrangements to give the listeners a “sonic journey. ”
SSP Groove music was done by Jim Donovan, M. Ed. He is a producer of the Music and Wellness Program at the Saint Francis University and the member of the platinum selling bands Sun King Warriors and Rusted Root.
“To ease listeners into the more complex pieces, I strategically place music aimed at relaxation and regulation, particularly at the start and end of each playlist,” Jim says, explaining the level of intentionality behind SSP Groove."
“The playlists increase in sonic complexity with songs that vary in lyrical presence. Following the most complex tracks, I include simpler rhythmic pieces aimed at refocusing, allowing listeners a chance to reset if needed. Each playlist begins and concludes with calming instrumental music for regulation, wrapping up the experience soothingly.”
Improvement in Accessibility with Instrumental Tracks
There is also a full playlist instrumental version for the convenience of those who do not like singing along to the songs. This option eliminates any obstacles that may hinder my clients from listening to vocal music and at the same time, it does not eliminate the key aspects and original algorithms that define the SSP as a listening therapy.
This dual offering empowers me to reach, access and engage with my clients:
Situational clients, who are likely to benefit from the instrumental information more than anything else. This is especially so for the clients who do not understand the English language very well.
Clients repeating the SSP, encouraging the interest by offering increased variety.
Growing SSP Playlist Options
In the future, Unyte plans to keep developing more SSP playlists and let the clients choose how they would like to use Unyte’s SSP service.
As an SSP provider, I can now offer six SSP playlists of different music categories namely ambient, fusion, classical instrumental and popular music. Each playlist is portrayed through three stages of filtering, which gives a possibility to control the dosage of the SSP carefully.
